Overview The Process Assistant reports to the Area Manager and supports various Fulfillment Center areas. Key Responsibilities Support and work in the department as required. Assist in daily department management, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers. Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers. Track policy follow‑up and attendance (duties do not extend to discipline). Track and report ATS/labor hours. Assist the floor as an associate resource, train associates and verify SOP compliance. Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback on associate performance. Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives. Fill in as needed with production duties. Fully understand workflow and daily production goals. Review and update SOPs as required. Assist in keeping work area clean and organized. Identify and address safety hazards within the work area. Coach associates to work safely at all times. Participate in safety initiatives. Refer all job injuries immediately to area manager. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of Microsoft Office product and application experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Be able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or experience in employee and performance management. English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in problem solving and delivering results. Bachelor's degree in communications or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience. Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Process. Knowledge of project and product quality tools such as Six Sigma or Lean operations. 1+ years experience in Problem Solve process path. Experience leading and influencing your team or organization. Compensation and Benefits The starting pay for this position is 23.00 USD per hour, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential. Additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors such as shift selection and location.
