This role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives. Assist the General Manager with all activity within the four walls of a Stord fulfillment center and must provide a strong vision and direction for the team, drive operational excellence, and implement scalable processes to meet business objectives. What You'll Do:Manage multiple supervisors and hourly associates in a warehouse or small grouping of warehouses, ranging in size from 30,000-600,0000 square feet per buildingPlan, monitor and execute staffing schedules and adjust as needed to ensure proper staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectivesManage inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracyMaintain productivity, customer service and safety standards on a daily basisProvide superior customer service and maintain professional and courteous relations with strategic partnersTrain, coach, mentor and develop staff to achieve business objectives while providing career development opportunities, conduct performance reviewsManage revenue and expenses compared to budget; manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs)Communicate to operations’ staff in areas such as: objectives, policies, procedures, safety methods, practices, programs, etc.Assist in delivering the facility-wide operational budgetAssist Manage recruiting and strategic labor planningEstablish and deliver targets for safety, efficiency, and qualityDevelop and deliver comprehensive peak season strategiesCollaborate closely with Stord’s Warehouse Excellence team to provide an unmatched customer experienceWhat You'll Need:Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field highly preferredAt least 5-7 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment; with at least 4 years of supervisory experience required. Preferably with Supply Chain or LogisticsMust have prior experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS), material handling equipment and/or various storage systemsLEAN experience preferredFood Grade experience preferredAbility to deliver excellent customer service and develop mutual benefiting relationships with all partnersPossess a history of growing responsibilities within a warehouse/distribution environmentAbility to identify and understand problems, challenges and opportunities by analyzing and comparing data to reach a beneficial conclusionAbility to influence change management and operational performance from areas outside of his/her direct controlAbility to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manualsAbility to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and set prioritiesAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and general publicAbility to read, analyze and interrupt policies and contractsMust be proficient with Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel and PowerPointSummaryLocation: ATL1 - Atlanta, GAType: Full time
