Responsibilities Provide coordination efforts related to documentation and closing of real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and mortgage financing. Review title commitments, title documents and surveys. Create, compose, and edit written materials such as transaction documents, correspondence, and other legal documentation. Conduct due diligence. Ensure all pre‑closing preparation and post‑closing follow‑up is properly completed in a timely manner. Perform legal research, which may include retrieval of statutes and regulations. Execute electronic research using Westlaw, Lexis and the Internet. Record documents with the various Recorder’s offices. Draft documents and correspondence. Correspond with clients and organizations, in writing, by telephone or electronic communications, as directed by the supervising attorney. Enter time and release it on a daily basis. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office programs. Proven ability to handle all support aspects of a commercial real estate transaction, including title/survey review, due diligence, document drafting, and closing/post‑closing procedures. Ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously and maintain organized files for voluminous transactions. Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail. Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external clients at all levels. Ability to problem solve, think independently, and tackle projects with minimal supervision while maintaining timely and efficient organization. Flexibility to arrive early, stay late, or work weekends with little or no notice. Capacity to regularly report to work on scheduled days and times. Handling of pressure and adaption to changing work priorities, workflow and assignments. Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred. Six to ten years’ experience with real estate transactional work including title and survey projects. Some travel may be required at times. Compensation At the time of posting, the estimated California, Colorado, Illinois, and New York range is $120,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the level of relevant experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
