Supply Technician (Part‑time | 24 Hours Per Week | Weekend Work) Supply Technician is responsible for completing Supply Chain standard operating procedures for supply replenishment across all supply nodes within the organization, including supply bin pulling, cleaning, filling, receiving, and replenishment. The role manages the deployment and replenishment of patient care equipment and medical code carts, identifies and manages expired supplies, maintains cleanliness of distribution areas, and responds to STAT supply requests while maintaining clear communication with clinical staff and the Distribution team. Responsibilities Supply Replenishment Follow supply chain SOPs for replenishment across all sites, checking, pulling, cleaning, and receiving bins to maintain full supply availability. Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet anticipated demand and respond to changes in supply patterns. Perform bin staging activities, keeping staging areas clean and organized. Deliver STAT items or special requests to end users and assist with over‑the‑counter matters. Utilize supply management technology and ERP to maintain accuracy. Physically count on‑hand supplies as required for accurate inventory. Maintain optimum inventory levels of any STAT or mission‑critical items. Communicate stock‑outs and substitute items with end users and the Distribution team. Clean & Organize Keep all distribution areas and supply nodes organized and clean following Supply Chain and Infection Control policies. Maintain a safe working environment and comply with PPE standards. Identify maintenance needs for supply nodes and perform regular maintenance such as bin replacement, labeling, and reorganization. Check for outdated and expired supply and remove them as part of quality assurance. Equipment Store, clean, and deploy medical equipment to clinical end users. Track equipment inventory, identify soiled equipment for cleaning, and deliver equipment as needed. Log and communicate equipment requiring repair or maintenance. Maintain and deliver medical Code Carts per policy, responding promptly to Code Cart calls. Communication & Customer Service Inspect clinical supply storage locations for misplaced items, trash, and wrappers to keep a clean environment. Maintain safety in all aisles and shelves of the store room. Notify management of inaccurate shelf labels or storage information. Rotate supplies regularly to meet quality assurance standards. Maintain clear communication between end users and the Distribution team. Assist with answering phone calls and responding to organization’s “I Need It” application. Communicate supply interruptions, stock‑outs, and backorders to all stakeholders. Meet productivity standards while demonstrating competency in scheduled work. Perform additional responsibilities as requested by supervisors. Qualifications Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum Work Experience 1 year of related and progressive experience in Supply Chain distribution in a health‑care environment (Required) Required Skills & Knowledge Ability to meet the physical demands of supply replenishment and equipment deployment per SOPs. Proficiency in using a handheld device with appropriate training. Teamwork and cooperation when providing services to direct or indirect customers. Clear communication skills with departmental management, clinical staff, and end users.
