Vision Assistant 1

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting Vision Room Technician in the operation and production maintenance of the automated vision inspection systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate automated vision equipment. Maintain and upkeep quality data collection systems. Maintain and modify product lay down area as needed. Prepare inspected product for auditing and warehousing. Perform routine APCO changes on automated vision equipment. O-Ring packaging and warehousing. Perform other duties as required or requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED; and two years of manufacturing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read, write and speak in English and possess interpersonal skills. Must be able to complete basic math formulas that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must have relevant technical skills. Must be able to use SAP software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work environment consists of manufacturing which may be exposed to noise, heat, and rubber smells. Exposure to loud noise levels for up to 2/3 of the time.

Hearing Test Vision Requirements Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) Ability to adjust focus Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more) Color Vision (ability to identify & distinguish colors)
