Information Security Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Information Security Analyst in San Antonio, TX.Key Responsibilities:

• Support vulnerability management activities across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments using data from scans, penetration tests, and security assessments
• Analyze, track, and validate remediation efforts, including root cause analysis and risk mitigation recommendations
• Maintain and support vulnerability management tools, dashboards, reports, and ticketing processes
• Partner with technology teams to automate processes, improve remediation workflows, and implement security solutions
• Monitor penetration test findings, coordinate evidence collection and retesting, and manage exception processes
• Provide technical support for vulnerability management tools and reporting
• Develop and maintain self-service reporting and dashboards using tools such as ServiceNow and Tableau
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous enhancement of vulnerability management capabilities

Skills

• 4+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security configuration management, or information security analysis
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Wiz, Apiiro, or similar platforms
• Experience working with remediation teams and ticketing tools including ServiceNow and JIRA
• Experience with process automation, reporting, and operational improvements
• Strong understanding of security baselines, vulnerability scanning, risk analysis, and remediation processes
• Knowledge of on-premises and cloud security environments
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and strong project management skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
