Position Overview

We are seeking a Seasonal Travel Respiratory Care Specialist for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position operates on a night shift schedule of 7 PM to 7 AM and involves working within a dynamic Respiratory Care Department focused on the care of pediatric patients.

Patient Population: NICU

Job Responsibilities

Perform airway management and ventilator management for NICU patients.
Support emergency department operations as needed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Staffing Details

Number of Positions Available: 4
Night Shift Staff Composition:
- Charge Nurse
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- CNA
- Sitters

Qualifications

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 6 months of current NICU Respiratory Therapy experience.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NR certification required.
- Must have Level III NICU and pediatrics experience.
- NBRC Certification is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
- Critical care and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience.
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR.
