Java Technical Lead

Java Technical Lead
Our client is seeking Java Technical Leads with strong experience in enterprise integration and event-driven architectures. This role requires hands-on development expertise combined with technical leadership across scalable integration solutions.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Lead development of enterprise integration solutions using Java technologies
- Design and implement scalable event-driven architectures
- Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and support integrations using Apache Camel and Kafka
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
- Support system design, architecture reviews, and implementation best practices
- Participate in troubleshooting, optimization, and production support activities
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Proven technical leadership experience within enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of integration middleware and distributed systems
- Ability to design and implement scalable integration solutions
- Insurance domain experience preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
