Mailroom Clerk
Our client, a dynamic educational institution, is seeking a dedicated Mailroom Clerk to join their team. As a Mailroom Clerk, you will be an essential part of the Office department supporting the efficient operation of mail and facilities services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Pay Range: $18
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the mailroom, including maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Sort incoming mail and packages, ensuring accurate distribution to appropriate departments, faculty, staff, and students.
- Assist with mail and package inquiries, resolve issues, and guide recipients on mailing procedures.
- Deliver mail and packages within the campus, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing packages, including tracking and delivery confirmations.
