ECVC & IP Event CoordinatorA leading law firm is seeking an ECVC & IP Event Coordinator to support events and client engagement initiatives for its Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) and Intellectual Property practices. The ideal candidate will have strong event coordination and organizational skills, excellent client-service abilities, and familiarity with wine, wine service protocols, and fine dining. This role requires occasional travel and flexibility to support events outside standard business hours.What You'll DoCoordinate and support ECVC and IP events, client programs, receptions, and other firm-sponsored activities.Manage event logistics, including venues, vendors, catering, guest lists, invitations, and event materials.Coordinate with attorneys, clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure successful events.Assist with wine selection, service, and fine-dining arrangements.Support event setup, execution, and breakdown as needed.Track event details, timelines, budgets, and related administrative requirements.Coordinate occasional travel and logistics for events in the New York and New Jersey areas.Provide support for occasional events in the San Francisco Bay Area.Work flexible hours when necessary, including occasional early mornings or evenings.What You'll BringExperience in event coordination, hospitality, client services, or a similar role, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.Knowledge of wine, wine service protocols, and fine dining is required.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.Professional communication and client-service skills.Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and internal teams.Flexibility to work occasional early mornings and late evenings.Willingness to travel locally within NYC, Roseland, NJ, and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to the San Francisco Bay Area.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event-related technology.
