Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview: The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and store needs. This role involves fostering team development and preparing for the Store Manager position. Key Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training staff. Support store merchandising, stocking, and presentation according to company standards. Help manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and conducting inventories. Ensure product availability by following ordering procedures. Deliver excellent customer service and act as a role model for store policies and procedures. Participate in opening and closing store activities and ensure cash and security controls. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment for customers and employees. Assist with financial oversight by reviewing sales, expenses, and inventory trends. Complete all required documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures. Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, safety, and security policies. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred high school diploma or equivalent; retail experience is a plus. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with physical activity including lifting, standing, and occasional outdoor work.
