Senior Program Manager, Campus Main Distribution Area Infrastructure Planning

Partner with network architects and deployment engineers to ultimately translate physical demands of the network (space, power, fiber) to requirements of building designs.Work closely with design engineering firms, construction contractors, and other partner teams to develop solutions that can be deployed to support Google’s global network.Present to executive leadership design and cost options to solve problems of the Google network.Guide complex programs reaching beyond your immediate organization.Work with vendors (e.g., racks, rack pdus, network equipment vendors, power/cooling vendors) to define how they develop new products to ensure they are deployable for Google globally.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in program or project management.Preferred qualifications:8 years of experience in an engineering or program management role involving multi-disciplinary fields such as network, fiber, electrical, or mechanical (cooling).Experience working on defining and designing data center infrastructure.Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization abilities with excellent attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a data-driven problem-solving approach to solving complex challenges.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all.
