Responsibilities

Summary :As aSystems Support Specialist,you'llprovide world-class tech support to fellow employees in a complex environment that moves at alightning fastpace.You‘ll work within a team,anticipatingand responding to the needs ofFrontdoorteam membersin technical distress. Your suite of tech-savvy skills will enable you to profile, build, procure, and install approved SW/HW, diagnose any emergent hardware and software ailments, and maintain the equipment employees use in theirday to daywork. Your communication skills and friendly personality should set afellow teammembersmind at ease, knowing that they are in the right hands to fix their technical problems.

Responsibilities:

• Be the owner of IT Systems: investigate, troubleshoot, and fix problems when needed;utilizeIT systems and procedures to continuously improve servicemethodology.

• Maintain, inventory, troubleshoot and repair corporate systems.

• Communicate with the team, including leadership, to provide key problem status updates and ensure compliance withFrontdoorstandards and security/compliance policies.

• Work with your peers to grow and evolve our current systems and tools, improving efficiency and collaboration between employees globally.

• Manage internal department specific projects in a professional andtimelymanner.

• May include other duties as applied.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• SolidExperience troubleshooting both Windows and OSX

• SolidExperience installing,configuringandmaintainingWindows and OSX

• Extremely customer-service oriented

• SomeExperience with a ticketing system such as JIRAService Desk or similar service desk software

• Strong time management and organization skills; able to prioritize multiple requests effectively and autonomously

• Display a passion for improving systems, process-building, and documentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with Leading or Managing assigned projects to completion

• Able toanticipateproblems before they arise and take preventive action or escalate recommendations appropriately

Preferred Skills:

Physical Role Requirements :Be seated at a computer intermittently for up toeight hours a day. Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Sitting forlong periodsof time while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Repetitive motionsusing hands and digits; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking,pinchingand typing during your normal working environment.

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirement s: High school diploma or equivalent required,Associate orBachelor’sdegree in ITpreferred

Minimum Experience required (number of years necessary to perform role) :1+ yearsofIT experiencerequiredwith a wide range of technology.

Other/State Specific

This role pays between $28.00/hr to $30.00/hr, and your actual hourly pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
