Job Overview

Talent4Health is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected acute care hospital in Glens Falls, New York. This opportunity is ideal for CSTs with strong Operating Room experience and proficiency in multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments and supplies as required.
• Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment.
• Support patient safety and infection control standards throughout procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers.

Required Qualifications

• Active NBSTSA Certification
• Active BLS Certification
• Minimum recent Operating Room experience as a CST
• Experience in:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedic Fracture Care
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Urology Procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel assignment experience
• Strong adaptability and teamwork skills
• Experience with Cerner EMR

Assignment Details

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Rotating Weekends
• On-Call Requirement: TBD
• 13-Week Contract
• Start Date: June 25, 2026

Compensation

• Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,261
• Weekly Taxable Pay: $840
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,421 (for qualified travelers)
