Job Summary:

The Electronics Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes for electronic components and systems. This role involves close collaboration with design, quality, and production teams to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing. The engineer will also address technical challenges, optimize production workflows, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Design and Optimization:

• Develop and refine manufacturing processes for electronic components, circuits, and systems.
• Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Design and configure equipment and tooling to support production needs.

Production Support:

• Provide technical support to the production team for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with quality control teams to implement quality standards and testing protocols.
• Analyze production data to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.

Project Management:

• Manage engineering projects from concept through production, including timeline and resource management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
• Prepare and present project status reports to management.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to protect employees and equipment.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Lead initiatives for lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies and apply them to improve operations
• Train production staff on new processes and technologies to ensue proper implementation and operation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar field.
• Hands-on experience with PCB design, surface mount technology (SMT), and assembly processes.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IPC, ISO 9001) and safety regulations.
