Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Bremerton, WA | Emergency Room / Trauma Center Schedule / Job Type Contract | 12-Hour Mid Shifts | 6-Week Rotating Schedule Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency room and trauma center environment averaging approximately 88 patients per day across a 12-bay unit with integrated fast track and triage Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:4 ratio, with potential flex to 1:6 for urgent care-level patients Perform nurse draws, read cardiac monitor strips, and independently manage ventilator patients using the Hamilton C1 Vent in the absence of on-site respiratory therapy Conduct triage as required, including use of the dedicated triage room Manage ER holds intermixed within the department with a transfer-out goal of 3 hours per facility agreement Document and coordinate care using EPIC EMR ; fulfill one major holiday requirement per summer and winter season Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience ACLS certification required PALS certification required NRP certification required TNCC certification required NIHSS certification required Preferred Experience / Skills Experience working in a mixed urgent care and emergency room environment Comfort performing independent nursing skills including ventilator management and phlebotomy in a setting without on-site respiratory therapy support Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation without monitor tech support Experience with EPIC EMR Why Join Us Work in a dynamic ER/Trauma setting with in-house security, on-site physician and mid-level coverage, and access to X-ray and CT within the unit Orientation support provided, including on-site shadowing shifts and online modules to help travelers acclimate to the unit Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 794313.
