Print Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Full Description

Local company needs Print Press Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts (evening and overnight)!

Duties


- Set up, operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
- Adjust printing machines according to job specifications
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure accurate color reproduction and image clarity
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions that may arise during the printing process


- Load and unload materials into machine
- Perform quality control of printed materials
- Follow established procedures for quality control, including inspecting printed materials for defects and ensuring they meet customer requirements
- Maintain accurate production records, including job details, materials used, and quantities produced


Qualifications
- Previous experience operating printing presses
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use various tools for troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications, including layout designs and print requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

Pay $19-28/hr with potential for overtime
