Insurance Agent Trainee

Location: Avon Park, Florida Overview Kemper is a diversified insurance holding company dedicated to serving modest‑income families. This role focuses on field sales of life insurance products and ongoing premium collection. Role Position: Life Insurance Sales Agent (Full‑time, field). This agent will manage an assigned territory, conduct sales presentations, collect premiums, and address customer service requests. Responsibilities Conduct sales presentations, recommend products, and close new sales. Prospect for new sales opportunities. Maintain strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre‑arranged schedule. Respond promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans. Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork. Grow the territory through new sales and maintain existing book of business. Build strong working relationships and pursue continuous professional development. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage. Dependable vehicle for daily travel. Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening. Authorization to work in the United States. Customer service experience preferred. Training & Licensing Kemper provides free study tools and professional guidance for licensing exams. New agents undergo an onboarding development program that includes self‑study, classroom instruction, and field mentoring. Earn a paycheck while learning through hands‑on experience.
