Senior Estimator

We are looking to add a Senior Estimator to a growing construction team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced estimating professional who wants to play a key role in the front end of projects and help drive successful outcomes from preconstruction through award. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, reviewing plans and specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, and supporting the team through budgeting, bidding, and preconstruction strategy. This person should bring strong commercial construction experience, the ability to understand drawings and scopes quickly, and the confidence to communicate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction estimates Reviewing drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents Developing quantity takeoffs and scope reviews Soliciting, leveling, and qualifying subcontractor and vendor bids Identifying gaps, risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities Supporting preconstruction meetings, bid reviews, and client presentations Working closely with project management and field teams to ensure estimates align with execution plans Maintaining relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners What We’re Looking For 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scopes, and sequencing Experience estimating ground-up, renovation, public, commercial, institutional, or similar projects Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines at once Strong subcontractor relationships and market knowledge Comfortable using estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate clearly with internal and external partners Why This Opportunity This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to have a real impact, work closely with leadership, and contribute to projects from the earliest stages.
