Experienced Direct Support Professional- Baldwinsville Exceptional Family Resources/ARISE is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with an active young man with a developmental disability. In this role, you will help him explore his community to access his memberships to the YMCA, Get Air, Rosamond Gifford Zoo, and Beaver Lake. He enjoys walking, exploring machines, equipment, and swimming. He would like to practice communication skills such as greeting and responding to others and independent living skills such as toilet training, changing, and structuring activities. The ideal candidate will be a current EFR/ARISE DSP, have effective communication skills, and patience. This is an urgent request and the family is open to staff that are willing to fill in temporarily. Please respond with a resume or summary of experience.

- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
