Senior Director of Philanthropy

the client is seeking a Senior Director of Philanthropy to help advance its mission of providing affordable housing and related services that empower residents to secure and retain high-quality homes. This role will create and execute a philanthropic vision, with a particular focus on corporate and foundation giving, supporting resource growth through an ambitious multi-year period that includes senior housing development, additional housing initiatives, and the planned launch of a regional affordable housing hub. the Senior Director of Philanthropy will lead efforts to grow contributions by strengthening fundraising strategy and partnerships, with emphasis on grant writing and relationship-building with corporate and foundation stakeholders. Reporting to the President, the role is expected to develop a collaborative culture of philanthropy, build effective processes and policies to monitor progress and donor engagement, and provide clear communication to support organizational goals. the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in nonprofit fundraising, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful grant writing and cultivating relationships with corporate and foundation partners. The Senior Director of Philanthropy will partner regularly with internal leadership, including the Vice President of Community Relations and a highly engaged Board, to align philanthropic efforts with community impact priorities.
