Data Center Operations Site Lead

Salary: $91,400 - 187,000 per year Requirements:

• We are responsible for one or more data center sites and ensure effective portfolio oversight.
• We analyze operational trends and identify opportunities to improve capacity, environment, availability, and overall site performance.
• We continuously monitor facility health and implement enhancements to strengthen stability and efficiency.
• We partner across teams and regions to drive process improvements aligned with operational best practices.
• We lead on-site teams during incident resolution and communicate execution status clearly.
• We manage escalated technical issues and determine when to triage or escalate further.
• We deploy advanced automation, scheduling, and monitoring solutions to prevent issues and reduce risk.
• We document issues, processes, and solutions to keep the knowledge base current and useful.
• We prepare for and execute incident or crisis management procedures when required.
• We conduct root cause analysis after incidents and incorporate lessons learned into updated documentation.
• We oversee new region builds and expansion work, both remotely and on site.
• We act as the main liaison for project teams and data center engineering during expansion and build activities.
• We supervise installations, repairs, inventory control, and logistics tasks.
• We direct component replacements and infrastructure upgrades, including rack deployments and network physical changes.
• We support proactive facility maintenance focused on containment, airflow, pressure, and power trains.
• We coordinate moderately complex work across multiple projects, adjusting plans, priorities, and resources as needed.
• We collaborate with stakeholders to align expectations and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• We identify and resolve moderately complex problems using data analysis and standard practices.
• We seek learning opportunities, share knowledge, and coach junior team members.
• We contribute to continuous improvement efforts and support hiring activities through interviews and recommendations.
