Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse Parttime/PRNLocation: Hobbs, NMWe are seeking an experienced Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis treatment. You will work closely with patients and their families to ensure they receive the best possible care. We work with one doctor who has a large practice.Responsibilities:Administer peritoneal dialysis treatment to patients as prescribed by physiciansAssess patients' conditions and adjust treatment plans as neededEducate patients and their families about peritoneal dialysis treatment and self-care techniquesMonitor patients' vital signs and lab results to ensure optimal treatment outcomesCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of careMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain knowledge of current best practices in peritoneal dialysis treatmentRequirements:Current RN licenseMinimum of 2 years of experience in peritoneal dialysis nursingBLS certificationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to work flexible hoursMust be willing to participate in on-call rotationIf you are an experienced peritoneal dialysis nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
