Metal FabricatorLocation: Countryside, IL 60525Pay Rate: $20.00/hrShift: FirstJob Duties/Responsibilities:Operate and maintain machinery and tools used in metal fabrication, such as welders, grinders, saws, and plasma cutters.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to project specifications.Perform welding, bending, and other techniques to fabricate metal parts and structures.Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications.Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.Troubleshoot and repair issues with fabrication equipment as needed.Qualifications & Requirements:Familiarity with commonly used tools and machinery in metal fabrication, including welders, grinders, and cutting equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.Proficient in welding, cutting, and shaping techniques.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during fabrication processes.Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a fabrication environment.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues on projects.
