Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Gather pertinent data from patient charts and other caregivers; collaborate with physicians as necessary.
• Independently assess all patient types to provide optimal physical therapy care.
• Demonstrate the ability to recognize additional patient needs and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
• Interpret evaluation results to formulate relevant and attainable treatment goals.
• Regularly reassess patient progress according to departmental and regulatory policies.
• Identify appropriate equipment needs and communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in a relevant field preferred; Bachelor's degree required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) in the state of TX or possessing a compact license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA only).
• Strong proficiency in outpatient physical therapy, especially ortho, balance, and pain management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.
