Store Manager in Training

Compensation and Pay Range $15.00 - $20.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Essential Job Functions Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved, including professional delivery and installer service specialists and retail parts and merchandising specialists. Coordinate with district manager and store manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members under supervision. Communicate meeting information from Team Weekly and monthly store manager meetings to all team members. Train new team members and handle performance evaluations, recommending pay increases. Assist in the hiring process, completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure qualified selection. Support store manager by ensuring safety compliance and providing appropriate training; monitor safety expectations. Make sales calls with or without store manager; may be assigned a schedule for weekly customer calls. Support store manager in store operations as assigned. Maintain delivery fleet, keeping records for each vehicle; ensure store/HUB store stays neat, clean, and organized. Utilize electronic scheduling, clocking, and payroll systems. Manage gross profit components; monitor returns, price matches, overrides, and individual team member productivity. Review monthly P&L with store manager. Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities High School Diploma. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program. Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately. Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems. Desired O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience. Completed O’Reilly management training program. Advanced computer skills. ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Total Compensation Package Competitive wages & Paid Time Off.
