This will include coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system. The candidate will also be expected to provide technical leadership, architectural support, and overall solution design support. Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills.Responsibilities:Responsible for design, development, and implementation of solutions to integrate with other applications to exchange dataWork with system owners, business owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a systemWrite.NET and ASP.Net code based on requirements defined in use casesDevelop Object Oriented code and/or provide maintenance and enhancements to existing code using.NET and ASP .NETWork with the team and business users to understand requirements, write functional and technical specificationsWork with a multidisciplinary set of stakeholder, contractors, and team members to design and develop software solutionsDevelop new code and/or support operations, maintenance, and enhancements of existing codeDevelop conceptual and technical design including use of OOA and OOD techniquesConduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and performanceDesign, develop, and test software solutions primarily composed of Microsoft technologiesEstimate and plan releasesRequirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent ResidentEligible for U.S. Government ClearanceMinimum 5 years in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive designMinimum 4 years in.NET developmentKnowledge and Experience in C#,.Net, ASP .NET, and Microsoft SQL ServerSolid understanding of all parts of Software Engineering (e.g. Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Experience working in agile or iterative SDLCsExperience with Object Oriented TechnologiesAbility to work with key owners and stakeholders to document requirementsExperience with.NET-specific technologies such as Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) or Workflow Foundation (WF) is desirableExperience with SharePoint is highly desirableExperience integrating, modifying, and configuring Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) productsBachelor’s Degree required from college or UniversityAbout Our Client: Our client is a leading provider of consulting, technology, and marketing services to a wide array of U.S. governmental agencies.
