Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care Float Pool – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour rotations (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend required, some holidays. Block scheduling likely available to accommodate preferences. Patient ratio of 3:1.

• Electronic Medical Records: Epic experience required
• High-acuity patient population with exposure to advanced critical care equipment and procedures
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 5 years of critical care nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated competency in multiple ICU specialty areas (Neuro ICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MICU)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation skills and ability to pass mandatory telemetry exam prior to start (80% passing score; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms required)
• Advanced critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, CRRT, arterial line management, central line care, and hemodynamic monitoring
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
