TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Columbia, South Carolina, 29203!

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience required. First-time travelers accepted. License: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP required. Preferred: AWHONN Advanced, STABLE. Must-Have: Epic experience. Comfort with couplet care or transition nursery preferred. Open to accommodating block schedule with manager approval upon request. Description: This position requires a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Shifts are 3x12 hours, with night schedules from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Every other weekend is required. On-call shifts are required, totaling 2 twelve-hour shifts in a six-week period. No floating between units is required. The hospital is an acute care facility. Medication and charting systems include Epic and Philips Intellispace. Medical staff should possess skills in various procedures involving maternal and neonatal care. Competency in managing anesthesia, performing assessments, and providing discharge teachings is essential. Travelers should be aware of hurricane season responsibilities during June to November. All required certifications must be current at the time of application. Prior employment with the system requires a separation of one year before returning as a traveler.
