Data Specialist

Our client, a well‑known Financial Services firm in New York, NY, is seeking a Data Operations Specialist to join its team. This role will play a key part in a large‑scale Data Clean‑Up and Optimization project, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of critical business information. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented and comfortable working with large data sets and internal systems. Responsibilities Assist with data transfers and support data migration initiatives across multiple platforms. Perform data cleanup, validation, and enrichment to ensure accuracy and consistency across internal systems. Maintain data quality standards by identifying and correcting discrepancies, duplicates, and outdated information. Prepare, organize, and deliver accurate data reports for internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT, Compliance) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of data initiatives. Document processes and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements in data management. Contribute to ad‑hoc data projects and provide general support as needed. Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in data operations, data management, or a related role. Hands‑on experience with data cleaning, data migration, and CRM systems High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment.
