Clinical Dietitian - $10,000 New Hire Bonus

Job Title Clinical Registered Dietitian Employment Type Full Time Shift Day Shift Monday–Friday (Hybrid + Flexible Hours) & 1 rotating weekend per 3 weeks. Location Holy Cross Germantown Hospital, Germantown, MD Sign‑On Bonus $10,000 New Hire Sign‑On Bonus for external applicants with at least 1 year of experience in acute care. Position Purpose The Clinical Registered Dietitian completes nutrition assessments and provides medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process in a timely manner. Responsibilities Completes nutrition assessments and provides medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process in a timely manner. Delivers individualized nutrition care to patients while performing within the scope of practice per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary care team and participates in performance improvement projects. Provides nutrition education for patients, families, medical and non‑medical staff, and the community. Supports the mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or verification that the Dietetic Internship and Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) requirements have been completed. Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the state of Maryland. Active Registered Dietitian (RD), Registered Dietitian Nutrition (RDN) or Registered Dietitian Eligible (RDE) status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with physicians, patients, families and other hospital staff. Ability to handle confidential information and situations with discretion. Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred. Fluency in reading, speaking, and writing English. Pay Range $29.38 – $45.54 per hour. Salary is based on experience, skills, and education. For exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), pay will reflect the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates and may vary within the stated range based on location.
