Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12s, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience and be proficient in various nursing skills and procedures relevant to maternal care.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
Monitor fetal heart rates and assess maternal well-being.
Administer medications and manage IV therapies as required.
Support mothers with postpartum care and education.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience required.
Current and valid SC or Multi State/Compact RN license.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
AWHONN Beginner and Intermediate certifications required.
Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification required.
Epic experience preferred.
AWHONN Advanced and STABLE certifications are a plus.
