Job Roles and Responsibilities

Provide primary care services including acute, chronic, and preventive care to patients across all age groups in accordance with clinical protocols and licensure.

Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses, minor trauma, and episodic health concerns.

Perform minor surgical procedures and initiate life-saving interventions during emergencies.

Plan and order diagnostic tests as necessary for patient care.

Evaluate diagnostic results and consult with supervising physicians when appropriate.

Prescribe medications and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory and clinical guidelines.

Refer complex or high-risk cases to physicians for further evaluation and management.

Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with practice standards.

Serve as a preceptor or mentor to medical, nursing, or allied health students when assigned.

Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Provide patient counseling on health conditions, treatment plans, rights, and responsibilities.

Support administrative functions such as documentation, data entry, and reporting.

Manage and monitor medical supplies and resources to ensure compliance with policies.

Adhere strictly to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Certifications

Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority (state-agnostic).

3-5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred (newly licensed candidates are encouraged to apply).

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
