Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time) in South Orange Village, NJ
We are a small, patient-focused dental practice in South Orange Village seeking a caring and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team of four. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building relationships with patients and providing gentle, thorough dental care in a welcoming environment.
What We Offer- Competitive hourly pay: $50-$55/hour (DOE)
- Preferred availability: Mondays and/or Tuesdays
- Thursday or Friday full-day availability may also be considered for the right candidate
- Employment bonuses available
- Supportive and friendly small-office atmosphere
- Single office location - no travel between offices
- Greet and seat patients
- Review medical history
- Perform adult and child prophylaxis
- Evaluate and detect periodontal conditions
- Provide oral hygiene instructions
- Schedule patients for future hygiene visits based on recall intervals
- Deliver excellent patient care with professionalism and compassion
- Active Dental Hygienist license
- Caring, punctual, and team-oriented personality
- Ability to provide gentle but thorough care
- Anesthesia license is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is preferred
