Job Description
MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Evening shift, 8 hours per day, Monday to Sunday. Must be flexible with scheduling, including 1-2 weekends each month. No block schedules available.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires expertise in using Philips MRI equipment and the ability to work in a teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures according to prescribed protocols.
• Assist and ensure patient safety during scans.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as necessary.
• Document patient history and imaging results accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT licensure with advanced MRI certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience.
• Experience with Phillips MRI systems is mandatory.
• Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years is required.
• Prior travel assignments preferred.
