Duties Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and overall guest experience Support team management by training staff, conducting interviews, and motivating team members to perform at their best Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards Manage cash handling processes and POS systems such as Micros POS to ensure accurate transactions Monitor food industry trends and implement best practices for kitchen efficiency and customer satisfaction Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including food safety protocols and sanitation practices Collaborate with the management team to optimize restaurant performance, handle customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly Requirements Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations Hands-on experience with POS systems like Micros POS and cash handling procedures Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a positive work environment Demonstrated customer service excellence with a focus on guest satisfaction Familiarity with food safety standards and food handling regulations in the food industry Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable; barista experience is a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Benefits Discounted or free food Pay: $21.33-$25.43 per hour Work Location: Duncan, BC (in person) Terms of employment: Full time Starts as soon as possible Vacancies: 1 vacancy #J-18808-Ljbffr
