Job Title: Driver Mainstream Bobtail OOT

Pay: Hourly

Schedule : Nights. Hours TBD.

Driver must be able to work Nights & work out of town on a 6-week rotation schedule or a 3-week rotation schedule . This position requires drivers to travel out of town for three weeks with one-week home time or Six weeks with two-week home time. Accommodation is provided for out-of-town travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Properly load and unload product at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings
• Job assignments will vary be location and travel to various companyterminals based upon business needs
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
• Comply with company accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

Pay Range: - , General Benefits: Qualifications

• Minimum age 23
• Valid class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a good driving record and a good understanding of DOT regulations
• Have 1 year of experience hauling liquid bulk using a tanker trailer or bobtail truck
• Able to pass background screening including MVR and criminal
• Stable employment history
• Able to work nights, weekends, and an extended workweek
• Some mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and get along with others
• Able to read, speak, write and communicate using the English language well enough to perform the job functions
• May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing
• Strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to fuel, fumes, and moving equipment
• Physically demanding with extended driving time
• May be required to lift objects weighing 50 pounds
• Able to use three points of access getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day
• Able to climb steps to verify tank compartments as needed
• Able to work safely on uneven or muddy surfaces

Preferred

• Carded drivers/fuel experience
