Overview Our client is a well-established and growing Manufacturing/Distribution company who’s looking to hire a talented General Manager. Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Additional compensation Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from Bookman Consulting Responsibilities Will be managing a staff of 20 - 40 employees in sales, operations, administration, and procurement in a 35-40K square foot facility Manages all branch activities, develops operational plan/budget and analyzes P&L for the variances Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates and promotional sales programs This role will spend roughly 40% of their time in the office managing operations in conjunction with the Operations Manager and 60% in the field with the sales team Must be able to think critically in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Will be heavily involved in selecting, training, scheduling, and coaching employees Salary is likely base pay of $130k-$140k plus a 30% Bonus, car allowance ($700 per month + mileage), benefits, and PTO Qualifications Must have minimum 5+ years of experience in general management in the wholesale food and beverage sector Must have experience managing a warehouse operation, a fleet of trucks and drivers and a sales team Experience managing a staff of 20-40 people in a 35-40K square foot facility Strong ability to analyze operational performance and P&L variances; develop operational plans and budgets Ability to think critically in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Benefits Vision insurance 401(k) Medical insurance Get notified about new General Manager jobs in St Joseph, MO .
