Our products are critical to many commercial and military applications. We have an opportunity in our Materials and Process Lab for a Metallurgist at our Cheshire Connecticut facility. Materials and Processes is a service group and a Center of Excellence for Collins Aerospace, Mission Systems and as such requires interaction with the various internal customers, other Collins facilities (for whom we regularly perform failure analyses), customers and suppliers. Summary reports, test results and conclusions for root cause corrective actions are commonly written and presented following failure analysis, material or process changes, and material substitutions.
