About the Position

Job Title: Neuro Stepdown Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Stepdown Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Stepdown or Tele Unit License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in Stepdown or Tele Unit - Travel experience preferred Description: Neuro Stepdown Nurse needed. Must be comfortable with patient ratios between 1:3 to 1:5. The position requires working with a combination unit of Step Down and Telemetry patients. Experience must include direct patient care in a Stepdown or Telemetry Unit. Charge experience is preferred. Patient care involves various neuro-related diagnoses, including stroke. Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. Candidates should have experience with telemetry monitoring, both on the unit and remotely. This is an acute care setting with interdisciplinary support available. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. On-call responsibilities may be needed occasionally.
