Big Bend Health is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources team and play a critical role in supporting our employees through accurate payroll administration and outstanding benefits service.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing analytical work with employee interaction and wants to be part of a collaborative, purpose-driven organization dedicated to serving our community.What You'll DoAs our Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you'll serve as the primary administrator for payroll and employee benefits while partnering closely with Human Resources, Finance, organizational leaders, and benefit vendors.Responsibilities include:Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on scheduleAudit payroll for accuracy, including timekeeping, overtime, deductions, incentive pay, and employee status changesAdminister employee benefits including enrollments, qualifying life events, COBRA, ACA, and annual Open EnrollmentReconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve billing discrepanciesAdminister retirement plan contributions and reportingMaintain payroll and benefit records within the HRIS systemRespond to employee payroll and benefit questions with professionalism and confidentialityPrepare payroll reports and assist with compliance and audit activitiesPartner with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee recordsProvide administrative support to the Chief Resource Officer, including reports, presentations, meeting coordination, and special projectsWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsAssociate degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field orEquivalent combination of education and related payroll, accounting, or Human Resources experienceExperience processing payroll and administering employee benefitsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentialityProficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systemsPreferred QualificationsFCP, CCP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certificationExperience with payroll compliance, benefits reconciliation, and retirement plan administrationHealthcare experience is a plusWhy You'll Love Working HereWe believe our employees are our greatest asset.
