Senior Associate Consultant (Washington)

Role Description The Senior Associate Consultant role is a full-time position. In this role, the consultant will support and lead portions of client engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in client meetings, synthesizing complex information into clear insights, developing recommendations, and helping manage project timelines and deliverables. The Senior Associate Consultant will collaborate with colleagues to design work plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to business development activities such as proposal writing and thought leadership. This role involves balancing independent work with team collaboration and maintaining high professional standards in client service.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and research abilities, including experience gathering, organizing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
• Capitol Hill and federal government experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise reports, presentations, and client-facing materials.
• Project management capabilities, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Consulting, policy, or strategy experience, preferably in a client-service environment or similar professional setting.
• Proficiency with common productivity and analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data visualization or analytical tools is a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team, build professional relationships, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as public policy, business, economics, political science, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is a plus.
