- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the scheduling, workflow, and efficiency of the ultrasound department, ensuring timely patient care and seamless operations.
- Perform Advanced Ultrasound Imaging: Conduct advanced ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and accurate results.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide precise and timely diagnostic information.
- Maintain Equipment and Safety Protocols: Ensure all ultrasound equipment is maintained properly and that safety protocols and regulatory standards are consistently followed.
- Lead and Mentor the Team: Supervise, mentor, and train ultrasound technologists, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
- Quality Control and Improvement: Implement and monitor quality control measures, contributing to the department's performance improvement initiatives and ensuring high standards of care.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or equivalent certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered ultrasound technologist.
- Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
