The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment in all assigned areas. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness and presentation by performing routine cleaning tasks, following established procedures, and providing excellent service to residents, guests, or staff. Key responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Additionally, the Housekeeper changes linens, makes beds, and replenishes towels, toiletries, and supplies as needed. They also remove trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal in designated areas. Reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to management promptly is crucial. Proper use of cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines is required. Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and requesting replacements as needed is also part of the role. Supporting special cleaning projects and seasonal deep cleaning assignments is expected. Ensuring all assigned work is completed on time and meets quality standards is essential. Providing courteous and professional service to residents, guests, and staff is mandatory. Compensation is up to $20 DOE. Please do not apply if you live more than 30 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale area.
