Radiation Therapist - Travel Job

What You'll Need:


• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program


• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy


• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required


• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist

• ARRT required.
• BLS required.
• OBMI required.
• 5 years of experience required.
• At least 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery required.
• Experience delivering treatments on Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines required.

Assignment Details

• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Hours vary, mostly 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on patient load.
• Weekend work may be required on a rare basis if patient treatments are needed due to machine downtime during the week.
• No floating. Dedicated to the Radiation Oncology department only.

Additional Duties:


• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment


• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment


• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team


• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy


• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records
