Role Description

The Business Development and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting Lithko's business development, marketing, and preconstruction efforts through the creation of pursuit materials, maintenance of business development systems, and delivery of reporting and analytics that support strategic decision-making. This role collaborates with business development, preconstruction, operations, and marketing stakeholders across the organization to provide accurate information, compelling marketing content, and consistent client-facing deliverables. The role is important because it strengthens Lithko's ability to identify opportunities, communicate value to customers, and make informed decisions through reliable data and high-quality marketing materials.


Key Responsibilities

• Pursuit Deliverables: Create and coordinate proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that support preconstruction pursuits and business development.

• Business Development Data Management: Maintain business development and preconstruction systems, reporting, and data quality to support pursuit strategy and decision-making.

• Marketing Content Development: Develop and organize project marketing content that communicates Lithko's capabilities, project experience, and brand.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business development, preconstruction, operations, and marketing stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and customer pursuits.

• Reporting and Analytics: Produce reports, dashboards, and project history information that provide meaningful insights to leadership and operational teams.

Tasks & Duties


Pursuit Deliverables

• Develop proposals, presentations, qualification packages, brochures, and other pursuit materials that support customer engagement and project pursuits.

• Maintain presentation and proposal templates to promote consistency across customer-facing deliverables.

• Update company benchmarks, performance metrics, project statistics, and other standard content used within pursuit materials.

• Coordinate with business development, preconstruction, and operational stakeholders to gather information required for pursuit deliverables.

• Support large pursuits by coordinating deliverable timelines, content development, graphics, and document production.

• Maintain organized file structures, tagging systems, and document repositories within Teams and SharePoint.

Business Development Data Management

• Maintain accurate project, company, contact, and opportunity/pursuit information by serving as the system champion for the Bid Log-providing reporting dashboards and data support for Preconstruction (creating reports, answering questions, finding data).

• Monitor data quality and identify duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records requiring correction.

• Promote adherence to established data entry standards and business processes.

• Assist with system enhancements, reporting improvements, and process documentation as requested.

• Maintain business development information used to support pipeline reviews and pursuit planning.

Marketing Content Development

• Collect, organize, and maintain project photography, project narratives, and supporting marketing assets.

• Assist with the development of project stories, customer success examples, and capability information.

• Create graphics and visual content that support social media, recruiting, business development, and marketing initiatives.

• Coordinate marketing collateral requests from internal stakeholders and Centers of Excellence (COE).

• Apply established brand standards across all marketing materials and communications.

• Maintain organized storage and retrieval of marketing content for future use.

Reporting and Analytics

• Generate standardized project history reports, pursuit reports, and business development analytics.

• Maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into pipeline activity and project performance.

• Compile, organize, and distribute information requested by business development, preconstruction, and operational leadership.

• Assist users in understanding available reporting tools and data resources.

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, usability, and data accessibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with business development, preconstruction, operations, and marketing teams to support strategic initiatives.

• Participate in planning discussions related to pursuits, customer opportunities, and marketing campaigns.

• Communicate project, pursuit, and reporting information to stakeholders in a timely manner.

• Support continuous improvement efforts related to marketing, business development, and preconstruction processes.

• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the AEC industry (Architecture,

• Engineering, Construction)

• Strong graphic design capability - required

• Data-forward mindset with demonstrated proficiency in Excel and CRM systems

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of deliverables and deadlines

• Preferred location - Columbus, OH (Hybrid); other BURG locations may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting business development, sales, or preconstruction teams.

• Experience with Power BI, Quickbase, SharePoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar platforms.

• Experience creating social media graphics and marketing content.

• Familiarity with proposal development and pursuit processes.

• Experience utilizing AI-enabled productivity tools.
