About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the principals, directly interface with investors and counterparties, and take on the responsibility of the full finance function. This role is ideal for a CPA with 5-8+ years of experience, a strong GAAP foundation, and a proven track record of outperformance. The VP of Finance will own the accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities, manage audits, tax processes, and banking relationships, and support deal activity. A self-starter mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence strategy are essential. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should be prepared to step into a hands-on role that involves both closing the books and engaging in high-level financial discussions. The role requires a candidate with a proactive approach, a high level of ownership, and the ability to build and maintain financial models, cash flow forecasts, and investor reporting. Experience with multi-entity structures, fund accounting, and a background in public accounting are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence with senior stakeholders, be adept at financial modeling, and have exposure to private equity, real estate, or investment management.
