About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required. CPI and TNCC preferred Must-Have: EPIC experience required 2 references from authority figures within the last year Description: 1 PM to 1 AM variable shifts. 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule. Floating required as needed within scope. Could be asked to float to sister locations. Weekend coverage required based on unit needs. Medical/religious exemptions only for flu and COVID-19 vaccines. Two supervisory references needed with submission. Candidates must have charting system experience. Candidates with background or license findings must be identified before submission. Candidates who attended restricted schools are not eligible. Responsibilities include managing various patient cases, such as trauma, cardiac, and mental health conditions. Skills include intubation, CVA management, triage, and care of ventilated patients. Patient demographics include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 142 patients with diverse diagnoses. Must maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures. Potentially involved in special procedures as needed based on daily census increases.
