Job Description
Make a positive impact supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist across two unique educational settings: a STEM-focused school and a vocational program. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (4 days per week preferred, but 5 available for those who desire it) and allows you to work with a smaller special education population, giving you time to provide individualized support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio school psychologist certification (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in educational or school-based settings preferred
- Strong adaptive, responsive, and flexible approach to student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with K-12 students, including those in special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, interpret data, and provide recommendations for student support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, social, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
- Provide consultation services for staff and families as needed at both campus locations
