Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1820 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with insulin gtts.

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric ortho, neuro, and telemetry patient population. Uses wound vacs, PICC lines, and central lines. Airway support includes BiPAP, CPAP, high flow, and nasal cannulas. Drips include Cardizem, Heparin, and insulin; typically non-titratable on this Med/Surg/Tele unit. Nurses are required to read and verify telemetry strips once per shift in Epic. Manages patients with chest tubes, hemodynamic monitoring, transvenous/temporary pacing, conscious sedation, and advanced respiratory modalities.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
